Edmunds is reporting that the USA won't get the hatchback for some time (if ever), saying that MB will introduce the A-class to the USA in conventional sedan format, to be followed by a mini-SUV version.
Anything but the dreaded and despised hatchback, I guess
As Edmunds said, “Selling a new, cheaper line of cars is a tricky proposition for Mercedes. It needs to go smaller and less expensive while maintaining its reputation for high quality and prestige. Not easy to do with a hatchback in the States.” .
