'05 C200K SS, '05 Kleemann CLK500K, '08 Hummer H3 & '92 Z34 5sp (track car in Canada)
I installed my Quaife a few months back when I did the Kleemann supercharger, it certainly helps, no question. On a stock or modified non-supercharged CLK it will be phenomenal, so, I highly recommend it.
My car wasn't listed either so I sent my VIN to the Euro distributors (Birds Garage - truly excellent guys!) and they hooked me up with the right one. The US model for my car is the 9V, I got the beefed up Euro model (not available to the US market) 27B.

Second my car does not use the 7V.
From my understanding Quaife only produced 2 or 3 differentials (7v, 9v & 5v) and only knew that they fitted 3 different Mercedes-Benz cars.
What the guys at birdsauto did (contact james.bird@birdsauto.com for ANY info) was carry out a whole bunch of research into Merc applications and found a few problems that Americans were encountering, re-modelled them, upgraded them and renamed them so the new applications that the guys @birdsauto are selling are far better designed than competitions.
To the OP twizter do yaself a favor and contact James, you will not be disappointed.

Good to hear that they are getting you sorted, odd to hear that yours is the only 209 55AMG that doesn't take the 7V... Then again, they told me the 9V wasn't actually the correct LSD for my car either, even though that's what guys State-side are using.

Wow, that is really cheap! Most places State-side and MB here in Dubai quoted me $1000USD for the install, I did however end up getting a fantastic discount. The LSD is something I only felt comfortable with MB doing here.
