I found the answers to my questions. The 13-pin connector is located outside the pan and it can leak both internally (to the car) and externally.

I saw the "grease" on the front portion of the pan and the rear portion of the engine. Would leaks from the 13-pin connector reach this far to the front (these components are all covered by the bottom panels)?

If ATL is low, would there be a warning? Any symptoms?

Yep, if you have oil on the garage floor, it has leaked externally. If you have oil in the TCU (under the front passenger floorboard) it has leaked internally and wicked there via the wiring harness.

It's possible, but you should see a lot of oil connector if it's leaking. It then goes "everywhere" as you drive.

There are no built-in diagnostic warnings, but if the fluid gets low enough, you'll get some slippage or jumping our of gear. But that usually has to be pretty low - like over a quart.

I should have asked the indie to check the ATF level when I was there yesterday.

I checked and there is no fluid in my garage floor. I only saw "grease" on the two bottom panels, on the front portion of the pan and the back end of the engine.

I always thought that leaking from this 13-pin connector is usually small.

I will go ahead to replace this connector. I understand that there are 2 O-rings, does it come with these O-rings or I have to buy them separately?

The pilot bushing leak can be slight or heavy. On our C240, when it started leaking, I was finding about two teaspoons a day on the garage floor, and that was after it had leaked enough to coat the plastic underbody cover very thickly.
