Lets go red

Did some work on the car the past week and decided to take the black carbon fiber off and replaced it with red.

Pretty happy with the results

Change my climate control to the luxurious one. (Finally found one)

Also changed all my rotors and pads to Centric cross drilled rotors.
The R1 rotors that i was using before were made pretty cheap. I know a lot of people here like them but i was totally dissatisfied with them
Car brakes so smooth now

Man, I'm "afraid" to wrap my trim once and you've done it twice (or more)? What'd you pay for the HVAC unit? When I did mine, someone dissed me for doing it for "looks", lol. I agree on the R1's; mine are looking ratty now and way more visible with the new wheels. Got plenty of months/miles outta them tho, I think.

I was under the impression that the R1 rotors were made by Centric before being crossdrilled?

Was there much of a price difference between the rotors? What about the R1's had you thinking you needed a change?

I first purchased the R1 through the website and withp ads it cost me about $380 (not premium just regular rotors)

I got the centric rotors through a hookup fro ma friend of mine + posi quite pads for $300. Original price should have been $540

My braking lately was horrible. Lots of shaking on the pedal and stopping power was weak. I changed the fluid at MB and still no luck.
Not sure if i somehow warped my rotors just because i don't really beat my car...

Wow. I paid $275 shipped, and that was after haggling with the eBay seller (in Germany).

BTW, would you consider doing a CF-vinyl wrap interior trim job for pay?

mine wasn't new, just "newish," from a 2009. I guess I just wasn't patient and jumped on the only one on eBay at the time. The seller, a Hungarian guy in Munich, wanted $500 so I felt pretty good at the time getting him down to $275 shipped.

I've already PM'ed you to take you up on that very generous offer, thanks!
How much CF vinyl should I order to wrap all the walnut?
