SRS - All over again
i had the SRS light lit up on my dash.
first we thought we had a loose connector under the passenger seat, but it turns out that the connector has nothing to do with it.
according to the diagnosis tool, i have something related to the sensor inside the seat being a defect. i guess they call it a "child seat recognition" or a "Seat occupation recognition" or a "weight sensor"..
the Indie didnt let me check the codes, all he said is that we have different alternatives:
1) inject a code which enables all airbags on impact (that would cost a fortune) & turn off the SRS light.
2) take out the passenger seat and change the sensor inside the seat (but we need to take off the leather & if it breaks cz it has cracks it is costly enough to replace it -- not including the $ of the sensor)
any help would be appreciated guys so i know what to do.
& is it true that when we have the SRS light on, all airbags are disabled until i fix the issue???

I suggest to go to a diff indy shop. This should cost you 1hr shop time at the most.

Im in vancouver, so I ended up going to FlyingTiger Development.
I had the same thing happen in my C class, it was the passenger seat sensor.
