first car, first benz!

hello everybody! Im 21 and Im just about ready to buy my first car and it just has to be a mercedes. i found a 2003 clk 500 for around 13,000. ive searched for the past month trying to find a cheaper one but i just cant. i really wanted it in silver but this one is black and im fine with that (i kinda have to be).
its a standard everything so its kinda plain looking but still looks magnificent, the carfax is good. ive read so much about the car and it seems to be more delightful than anything. the only thing bad is that the insurance is going to be high because of my age and the bad 302 hp engine, but i have a descent job and i should be able to afford it. if you guys have any info about the car that i should know, feel free and say it. although its fast, im a smart driver and im not really looking to speed with it, rather just drive it as a normal car.
i think since the car is black i might get some nice rims to really brighten up the look. as soon as i get it, ill put up a picture!!

Welcome to the forum young man; you will have many cars in your life, many opportunities to get exactly what you want...this is a most excellent first car. Drive carefully, mod creatively, wash faithfully.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
A 2003 CLK500 would be a good car. The engine and transmission are bulletproof when properly maintained. Are you planning to DIY or use a mechanic? Keep in mind that some repairs on this car can be expensive. They are rare, but failure of things like instrument clusters, ignition switches, antenna amplifiers, etc. can cost several thousand dollars just for parts. I'm not trying to talk you out of this, I just want you to know that you need to be prepared to have some cash available for the unexpected.
