someone's stealing my tire valve caps!

Yes, locking caps just use a recessed Allen head screw to tighten against the valve threads. They can still be removed, just not easily by hand. And my caps keep disappearing, too. But I know where they go - I get tires at Costco and they insist on putting their green plastic caps on my valves. I've just given up on having fancy metal caps and deal with green plastic.

Green plastic caps? I guess they are using nitrogen in lieu of air? Good service for Costco, didn't offer anything like that when I use to go there years ago.

I quit buying logo caps years ago... constantly being ripped off, just get a nice silver or black set and call it a day. The locked ones are no better, if someone wants them they will take them

mine got stolen in my driveway, likely kids putting them on their bikes. Just "nice silver" ones...I'm trying the locking ones, plus looking at security cameras.

I lost my OEM caps in the first week owning the car and the second set went missing in the following weeks. Got tired of having always checked the valve for missing caps, I bought a bag of 50 grayish plastic caps since then. These caps are so cheap and unappealing to potential thieves- I still have 46 unused ones in the origianal bag. LOL.
On the plus side, gray colored plastic caps blend in nicely with my AMG wheels. LOL
