2003 Clk55 AMG Ambient Temp Sensor Location help?
Can anyone post a vivid picture where you can find the Ambient Temp Sensor 03 clk amg my temp is showing 185!! and its exact location?

Passenger side, behind the fog light mesh or the extreme left side of the lower rad grill. My car is torn apart right now and I noticed it hanging there, it's black, cone shaped that tapers to a tip, IIRC about an inch and a half long.

Ive checked everywhere in the front bumper i have no grill or fog lights small front end hit new bumper on its way nothing serious. im going to take some pictures and see if you can indicate me to where it is. Unless you can take a pic showing where it is i would thank you so much.

I have one pic of the location (the front end of my car is pulled off for mods) but the internet here is way to slow to upload pictures, sorry.

The wiring for the ATS it is loomed with the wires for the passenger side fog light, I don't see any wiring there at all...?

Are you the one who removed your lower grill and fogs? If so, you should have seen it. What Kev describes on his '05 is the same as my '08, but I suppose your '03 could be different. It is a black plastic cone a little smaller than the plastic cap on a pen. It clips on the passenger end of the large lower grill usually. It would show in your first picture, but you have nothing there at all. I assume it's hanging down or maybe tucked in by your radiator, which may explain why it reads high.

As soon as you find the wiring for the passenger side fog light you're there, the ATS is bundled with it. Good luck.
