Extremely Annoying Rattling Noise! Please Help

For the past few weeks I have been hearing a rattling noise coming from the rear passenger side of my car which sounds like metal on metal from outside. It occurs whenever my passenger rear tire goes over a large bump between 20 kph and up. At first it sounded like it was in the trunk but after removing everything (including jack and tool set) and ensuring all bolts were tight, the noise was still there. It is a clunking noise that has been getting louder and louder. I just took off both rear wheels and could not find anything which appeared to be broken or loose. If anyone has experienced anything like this and found a solution or a cause to this problem please let me know as this is not only becoming annoying but also embarrassing.

Thanks in advance!

From experience its also worth checking the links/brackets that hold up the exhaust. I had this rattling noise annoying me for weeks! Anyway i got the car tracking sorted and when it was up on the ramp i noticed the bracket had worn away with age. Every bump or pothole would basically shake the exhaust. Replacement will be needed for mine soon i think.
