Problem
Hey all,
I am having some issues with my transmission. Long story short, I brought my 2006 clk500 to an authorized mercedes benz repair and they ran a diagnostics on my car. This is what came up on the report:
Code 2505: Hydraulic fault in transmittion (engaging shift element does not engage)
Code 2502: The gear is implausible or the transmission is slipping.
He advised me that an actual mercedes benz repair center located in a dealership would haveto do the repair on something like this.
Does anyone have any info on the possible cost or similar experiences?
Appreciate it

I'm a little confused by your terms "authorized Mercedes Benz repair (center)" and "an actual Mercedes Benz repair center located in a dealership". In the USA< there is no difference - the only service centers authorized by MBZ are dealerships.
As for the errors, I would seek assistance from a dealership. The first thing to check is fluid levels and mileage vs. last fluid/filter change (should be done at least at 39K miles initially, and really, every 39K miles). If it's not a fluid problem, then it could be a problem in the valve body and/or contact plate. Hopefully it is not a failed pump. Again, someone that knows these transmissions needs to do the work.

2006 was the year that contact plate & valve body problems were most prevalent.
2502 is is usually a sign of speed sensor trouble which is caused by the VDO conductor plate going bad.

Well, we both would have to wear tights. With my physique, I'd probably look better in the Batman costume with it's pre-formed abs, as mine are a bit "lacking".
