Black on black, very nice, the CF lip really adds a nice touch to the front end I'm not so much a fan of the flat black hood and roof on a gloss black car but to each their own.

actually, the interior has a 2-tone interior with black and grey with blackwood trick. i will take some pictures of the inside some other time as well. i need to buy some bigger shoes for the car, but waiting for the tires so i can replace them everything all at once.

i wrapped the hood, roof and trunk matte black.
i still appreciate your thoughts/opinion.

Nice looking car, love the lip. I agree, rims + drop would really set it off. Not a fan of the matte black though...

thank you fellas. the matte black on a black car is considered unorthodox, but i thought i give it a try. something different i guess. someone on this forum has a c320 i think and they did the same thing, the only difference is they have it just down the middle of the hood.

Advans had it on his C55 too if I'm not mistaken...

advans is exactly the person i was thinking of. my mistake, c55 not c320.

i am thinking of rims, but not sure about the lowering. i was thinking of getting low profile tires so the car sits a little lower to the ground. any thoughts?

By just doing that you're going to throw your speedo out and create more fender gap. Not advised IMO.

to clkboi: i got it done by evosport when they did the rest of my work.

to kevwood: so if i lower the car when i go bigger rims and low pro tires it will not throw my speedo out?

The idea is to keep the circumference of the tires the same regardless of the wheel size. Mine has 19's with 35 & 30 series tires, they are inline with the OEM tire circumfrances so the speedo remains correct.

So to answer your question, yes, when you lower and go with a bigger wheel but lower profile tires that match the OEM circumfrances, you'll be fine.

lowpost: thanks for the complement. i like your setup of the rear bumper and exhaust. can you give me details?

kev: what would the outcome be if i do not lower the car? the reason why i ask is because of the following:
1. wife sometimes drives the car (she loves her audi, but she likes the attention in the benz). which means she will continue to drive the car once in a while
2. the front lip will be lowered to the ground. fear of damage and wont pass a car wash. i had the car wash this pass weekend and it cleared by approx 1"
3. my previous car was lowered and i know how careful one must be when driving....refer back to issue #1

will the car look weird if not dropped? i would think it will look the same since the circumference is same as stock so the clearance between the wheel and the fender will remain the same?
