black on silver?

What do you guys think.

i have acquired an amg rear lip trunk spoiler. my 209 is silver but the lip is black. i bought it thinking that i would have gone with a black and silver theme, i considered using gloss black vinyl on the room to match the spoiler.

having second thoughts.... should i have the lip painted silver to match or stick with the black on silver combo.

if it matters, my wheels are silver vi reps

thanks
brian

I think you should paint it if you're going for that clean look

If nothing else on the car is carrying the black theme, I would paint it body color. That's my $0.02

I don't see why not try black on silver first: cheaper and reversible, and more unique. Maybe black out grille too?

woops. forgot to add, i also have the updated 3 slat grill in back.
roof is going to be vinyled just in case i dont like the scheme, its easily reversible.
and rear lip is black for now.

i think i might leave rims silver. i never like the two toned rim colors (lol sorry kevwood =p). maybe paint them black as well?

thanks for the advice guys.

i might keep it black and vinyl everything. take photos. and before and after pics. see how i like it, if not, it all comes off LOL

+1.
I absolutely love the black on silver theme.. I like to contrast so if the car is white or silver.. black will always look good in terms of black wheels and other accesories.
The black really compliments well with the factory grills and openings. Also the roof(if yours is a cabriolet).
