I love the looks of that accent on a light-colored car! I though about doing this on mine, but Cadet Blue is fairly dark, so I don't think it would stand out as much.

On a darkblue car a silver carbone wrap actually does look good, did you ever thought about getting the lower part of the bumper wrapped in just a brighter colour?
I mean does not automatically makes you a ricer! Tastefully wrapped a Mercedes can really turn into a nice looking ride. Carbone foil from 3 M is really the best stuff on the market, right now.

Mod 12) Interior Ambient lighting. (Rear View Mirror & front footwells)
For the base of the Rear View Mirror:
Connected via the A-Pillar/roof lining
And 2x LEDs for both front footwells: (photo brighten up to demonstrate)
Mod 13) OEM Mechanised cup holder - required half the dash to be removed for fitting
Mod 14) Quad Exhausts using OEM CLK63 AMG tips/pipes:
Couple more pictures of the car, just under a year of ownership:

BBW if you lived in the NY, we'd be best friends. Very nice car... best of both worlds "AMG LOOKS minus the ****ty mileage" I approve 100%
I'm not a fan of putting the badge on a stock base model, but if someone goes through so much work (changing bumpers, interior, pipes/tips) then you're not a base model anymore

Where did you get the antenna for the roof and how hard of an install was it removing the old?
Car looks great!
Thanks,

Thankfully both my CLKs, 05&56 had the facelift interior, otherwise I'd have done the same as you've!
Can I ask where it is you tapped in for the footwell lights? What size leds/ resistors did you use? Something I really wish they'd supplied from the factory. Just a nice feature.

Clk facelift conversion.
Hi everyone!
Im planning on fitting to my clk 240 the amg look bumpers. Id love to fit aswell some accessories that my car didn’t include at the time. (Parking sensors, retractable mirrors, etc..)
i would appreciate it if anyone has any tip regarding the fitment of these electronics and how hard it can be.
thanks in advance!
