Compatible Mufflers for Quad Conversion?
Hi Guys,
So I'm having some work done on my '09 CLK 550 Cab.
Need to replace the fornt and rear bumpers after some lady smashed into the back of me. Since I have to get work done anyways, I'm going to convert to the quad exhaust and wanted to find out if there are any other stock mufflers that would line up with the new configuration.
E55, C63, CLK 63?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
THANKS

Killer glad you are going to do that I will be very interested how you do it. The Cab is pretty difficult to make a true Quad do to there is really no room because of the reinforcements under neath the car because it's a cab. I am not saying it can not be done but it is not going to be easy. There are a few out there but they are not True Quads per say. I have even thought of deleting the tire well.
Before you even take a look at mufflers get that car up in the air you you will see what I am talking about.. Good Luck !

Thanks, didn't see that post.
I'm having the body shop change out the spare tire well to the CLK55 version as well as installing the BS sway bar, hopefully that provides more space. I'm still waiting on my new front and rear bumper from PD which is being shipped form Germany so my car has not even been started on yet.
We'll see what my options are once my baby gets up on the lift.

I was going to do a custom quad but just sent super sprint an email because they have one with the piping already set up the NA site does not have it listed. I have no idea if it would work with the convertible.

I Remember once i saw a similiar post like urs,but later on the guy changed his mind due to super sprint high prices, custom quad will be much cheaper and i think NICER if u make it right...My custom quad sound on my CLK55 is just like the C63(even nicer),i really mean it,its verry agressive and I LOVE IT ....
