In your experience once you get your build date how long has it taken to get delivery.?

I ordered my car around April 25.
I took delivery July 12.

It will all depend on when the production date is for you car. I tell my clients that from the day the car is built, you should allow 45 days for shipping to the west coast. If you are located on the east coast, the shipping is normally only 30 days.

I am not sure about how long it will take for someone in the MidWest. I am assuming that the car will go through customs in New York and then to the VPC in Belcamp. I would say that from the time your car has been assigned a ship to the actual delivery date will still be about 30-35 days......By the way, I checked a CLK500 that was delivered to Frank Fletcher Motors in Joplin, Missouri on the 14th of July and it was put on the boat in Germany on the 19th of June. This should give you some sort of idea on how long you can expect the process to take.

My car was built 11/19/02, and I took delivery in California on 12/21/02. How is that for speedy ! 32 Days from production to West Coast USA delivery. Probably arrived in the Los Angeles VPC 25 days after production.

I ordered a CLK55 March 5. Built July 9. Took delivery in VA on July 31.

They must have shipped you car over on a Cigarette Boat!!!

My E55 was built on June 30; I took delivery last Wed. The car got on the boat about 5 or 6 days after it was built. It arrived at port and was waiting to clear customs on July 17. It was delivered to the VPC a couple days later. Took a few days at the VPC. It was released to the carrier last Tuesday and arrived at my dealer in central Ill. the next day. But its not like I was checking every day or anything.
