Its been a while for me to do anything to my car beside i just bought a set of 18" C63 Rep last 3 weeks and now i have decided to swap my cluster with the white gauges just like one of those CLK55 and i guess all the newer CLK have that 06 + up ? im not sure about this....

Anyways, the one you see it from these pictures below is from the CLK500-06Cab. and it only cost me $100 from ebay . All the CLuster that ive seen on ebay they are around $200 something. Ok lets just see some pics, and oh i havent swap the main 3 circuits from my original one yet thats why you dont see no mileage and the little yellow lights that displayed the "Top" is still open . The main reason i put it in now just because i want to make sure the cluster is working and everything.

There will be a DIY for this swapping which i will take alot pics when im ready to do it (not sure when ) that way we can have it for the next person who wants to do this mod.

Louie,

Take a look at these pics below and can you compare to your see if there's any different ? I know your is from CLK55 AMG but beside the word "AMG" on the side i think they look similar to it.

Andy,

Looks just fine same error mine was showing when it was plugged in without doing the switch. I thought about just switching the face plate but its so much easier to get to the circuit boards to make the switch. The face plate is up front and crap load of stuff has to be removed to get to it.

I took pic's as I took stuff off for reference.

I don't have a photo to share, but I can say that the AMG cluster is slightly off-white and isn't as bright as the non AMG white cluster. The needles and script are of course different among the two as well.

The color differences are most apparent when driving the cars back to back, but isn't as obvious otherwise. I personally like the 10mph increments on the AMG cluster- makes it easier to read at a glance.

The shop doing the programming didn't do it right. Doesn't matter though, got rid of the OEM radio.
