Switching spare tire well to 55 for quad - question
For those who have done this - did you change the heat shield on the drivers side as well. Just wanted to confirm that this is necessary. I know Dynomite did this.

And this "spare tire" well doesn't fit a spare right- just fix-a-flat? Thanks.

Yes, changed out both heat shields. The center spare tire well is small, the stock spare doesn't fit. I drive without a spare lol.

I reused the driver side shield after recutting it and drill holes and reshape to fit. The part is not that expensive, but I couldn't pass up the freebie.

I used a mb inflate a spare, with compressor. Fits like a charm. Or you can do the can of compressed gas goooo for a flat.
