New Owner, and now to start the mods!

Hello,
Got my 04' cab CLK500 in December and haven't used it much due to the New England winter but tomorrow my new wheels and tires go on.
Thanks to the gozilliion pages of the "wheel and tire thread" I figured out what i wanted. Got 19x8.5, 19x9.5 Mandrus Mannheim Wheels.
Found a pic of a Cab with them: Cab with Mannheim

Other things i planning: lowering, rear spoiler, front lip, exhaust .....ect ect. Where will it stop??!!

Hey Pezman, welcome! Looks like you've been doing your research already so that's a good start haha. Keep searching around there is so much info on this w209 forum . Great choice on those wheels, look forward to seeing the new pics.

Pezman, do you still have the old style tail lights on the car? And if so, do you want to trade? Mine are as new, always garaged, but I want the old style now.

I'm curious Pezzman: where in NE are you that you're gonna lower and go with 19s? I have 18s with stock AMG springs and I'm losing my fillings on bumps and potholes!

Not far from you at all, I'm up on the N. Shore. It's not my daily driver so not too worried. Got the 19's yesterday and don't feel the ride suffered much. Firmer sure but not bad at all. (I drive a 2500hd duramax everyday so this still rides way better!)

To be honest, never cared to take notice until I read your other post. Now I agree with you, like the older ones better myself.

And it continues!

Had a Magnaflow muffler put on. Really like the sound now! Def not too loud but noticeable when you jump on it! Kept the single sided, single tip. (although its a new stainless tip) and used new stainless pipe to hook up to original pipe.
Love the sound! This is how it should come from the factory!
