Bolt on SL55AMG brake kits
Those 8 piston/4 piston 360/330 rotors do attract me,
Put them on my CLK50K, they fit well ! FYI
A local dealer is selling SL55/E55 brake kits at very very good price.

How much is that "very very good price"???? DONT make me start thinking about it!!!!
Could you please provide more details, I might be interested in getting it for my CLK500... Those brakes looks awesome.
As Harris already mentioned, how much are those brakes?
Please post some pictures.
When a decision is made to upgrade the braking system, make sure that the replacement components and system have been properly engineered and designed for your specific application ask technical questions and expect valid technical answers.
1) Discs should have curved vans and both greater thermal storage capacity and better airflow characteristics than OEM - otherwise you will not have achieved anything worthwhile. Depend on actual test results, not advertising claims. Discs should be mill balanced to less than 0.75 ounce-inch (54 g-cm), run out should be less than 0.002" (0.051 mm) and thickness variation should be less than 0.0007" (0.018 mm). On race applications these tolerance are typically reduced to .25 ounce-inch, 0.0005" and 0.0001" respectively.
2) Calipers should be stiff at elevated temperature. Again, look at laboratory test results, not claims. Calipers must be mounted true to the plane of rotation of the rotor.
3)Multi-piston calipers should have differential bores to reduce taper wear. Piston area should be consistent with master cylinder size.
4) Ideally no modifications to the knuckles or uprights should be required for installation.
5) Front to rear brake torque bias should be consistent with the dynamics of the specific vehicle.
They're all AMG 55 kompressor factory brake kits, OEM by Brembo
I put another aftermarket brake kits a year ago, as most makers do, you've to disconnect the pad worn out alarm wire.
But with the AMG brake, you're back in family kits.
There're worn out alarm wires in the right calipers, front & rear.
Yes, the 360mm rotor is quite heavy (~20 Kg)but durable than my preused light weight rotor (< 8 Kg)
I have put them on before my post.
One thing remind ! 18" & above rims are MUST to clear the huge caliper & rotor.
Mine is E55 18" style-IV, perfectly bolt on.
I check BBS rims,at least 15mm spacer needed to clear it.
p.s
Guys, drop me a PM if you wanna know the price.

The relation between rim & rotor
17s ~ 345mm
18s ~ 360mm
19s ~ 380mm
Determine the rim size you prefer then fill it up
I'm using 18s and SL55AMG disc is just fine.
Shine,
Could you please provide more details, I might be interested in getting it for my CLK500... Those brakes looks awesome.
(1) Converter ? to hold the caliper
(2) Front ???? to hold the converter up front
**SL55 brake is standard in 14mm holes while W203/W209 is 12mm, You've to re-drill all the holes to 14 mm
The dealer spare all the converters w/pre-drilled 14mm holes as part of the package , so no bothering at all
What else I saw there, the mechanic slightly cut off the rear dust hood in order to fit the rear 330mm disc.
They did alignment after kits was bolt on.
