Questions about switching back to stock springs from h&r

Whats up guys i was wondering, i currently have the bilstein hd shocks with h&r springs on my car for about two years. If i decided to swap out the springs to stock springs would that be a problem, i ask because of the shock that is more compressed with the lower springs is it gonna do more bad than good or am i just wrong altogether Thanks

I think what you need to find out is what is the length of the full range of travel of your suspension from full compression to full droop. Then find out what the full range of motion is for the shock and where it is in that range at normal ride height. You don't want the shock to be what stops the travel on either end of the equation. That will destroy the shock. Bilstein may be able to help you out with this since they will know if it is a replacement for a stock shock.

I am pretty sure that the bilstein hd shocks are made to go with stock springs. The bilstein sports are made for lowering springs and probably not work with the stock springs. So you should be good.

I dont think they made bilstein sport shocks i only saw the hd, unless you are talking about the pss9. I figured if i raise the car to stock height it wont be ruining rims and tires as often. I was just thinking of trading with someone for the original springs i cant afford replacing tires anymore i got 4 flats in a 48 hour period the roads in Brooklyn are no joke.
