I am shopping for air filter and pollen filter for my w209.

I first went to Autohausaz but they don't ship to canada. Then I found another place called fcpeuro.com. They have the same Mann air filter but instead of the Mann pollen filter they have Meyle pollen filter.

This online store charges $35 for shopping to Canada and I will be saving about 50% when I buy 2 of each. In my local dealership, air filter is $70 CAN and pollen filter is $42 CAN.

Are you guys familiar with this online retailer? How about the Meyle pollen filter?

 

The pollen filter is a non critical application so I would not worry. For the rest stay with OE.

 

I actually bought a washable home HVAC filter at Home Depot, then cut it to fit, and put that in the C240 in place of the pollen filter. It's much easier to take it out and clean rather than hunt for a new paper filter.

I may be getting new spark plugs as well. The same site lists Bosch FR8DPP33X12 for $67 US. Are these the original spark plugs in my car (2004 CLK320)?

My transmission mount and engine mount have never been changed but so far, I do not see any problem in drivability.

This site has Genuine Mercedes engine mounts and Corteco transmission mount (I think this is OEM).

Maybe I should get them as well, shipping fee is almost the same for one item or multiple items.

Do you guys have any experience with this online store? I am thinking to get more than filters from this site.

 

I have the AFE pro dry S filters in the car and i ordered my spark plugs off of parts.com.

 

i have bought plenty of filters from fcpeuro. I usually stock up when they have sale. lol bought enough for 5 services =p
