Illuminated Door Sills Update
Got the correct ones re-installed and they work through the door switch so every time the door is opened, they come on. Look great. $805 out the door. IMHO MB gave up trying to get it to work thru the rear view mirror sensor as that didn't always work so they did it the way I originally asked for (thru the door)

Will do Harris however I probably won't be driving it till Monday as it's supposed to rain here for the next couple of days and I don't want to have to wash it again.

Harris - your answer
When I open the door while in motion the symbol says doors open and the symbol either shows the right or left door (or both if both are open) open. Hope that answers your question.
