congratulation! it was a tough decision for me as well. i was looking for a clk550 and just could not find one. i absolutely love the mustang 5.0 (mustang coyote) and was so close on pulling the trigger especially since the price was so damn right, but it did not feel right. the car looked amazing but the interior did not do anything for me. in the end i went with a 550 but will be getting a mustang in the near future, would love a convertible one =]

Thank you! As you said... it really was a tough decision but after testing excessively the C63, the M3 and the Mustang GT 5.0, in a row AND on a track.

Without beeing biased nor wearing fan boy glasses, the Mustang GT 5.0 really was the better package! Its unbelievable how good the stang is actually taking twists and turns. As mentioned I tested these cars on the track and was surprised how fast the C63 was at its limits ( transmission went into safe( limp) mode) ...I was just doing one warm up and then pushed the car a little harder, well that wasnt the deal breaker...as I always wanted one, must admit ?..it got me thinking.

Then after the C63 "limped" back into the box, I wasnt able to downshift anymore...I took the M3 E92 for spin.

My god what a dream team come together...the transmission DCT ( was out of this world) and the perfect engine timing ( 8 throttlebodies ) really got me bad.
The twisty race track felt like a ride on rails, only problem I had was the breaks gave up to early...kind of overheated and the steering started to sweat a little ( smoke out of the engine bay)
Yeah I mean is it a car built for track or not? See thats exactly what I thought about, too.
Anyway was about time to test the third contender and eventhough it does not come equipped with an DCT not has 8 throttlebodies nor has an 6.3....this freaking thing is not a joke.

I couldnt believe how far the "mustang" went...people? It is crazy!
Its light! Suspension could be little more harsher but it eats curves, it accelerates so quick and with the traction control off, I felt like hell broke loose behind me.
Ive drifted in the M and did this with the C63...but could you believe the mustang made more fun?
The C63 felt very heavy, while the M wasnt as light as suspected I still had good control over it, light understeering but at the end ...it didnt felt raw enough. It felt like ( M) like its been built for people to be taken to track, that actually dont know sh... about proper usage of it.

I know Ive been fortunate to have these all at one day, on one track and to literally beat the living xxx out of it ( didnt considered to buy these, I got them handed over just for test ) nonetheless I had a super great time with all of them, be it the C63, the M3 or the 2013 Mustang GT 5.0.
All these cars had their advantages and disadventages wich at the end led me to the IMO better, more overthought package of the Mustang.
Again Im not a fan boy of any brand Im an enthusiast, who knows in a few month I might introduce my P1 here, all I wanted is to share my review of the big three :-)

Have a good everyone!!!

Of course it also helps that the Mustang is half the money too right

It's a nice car but nowhere near as refined as the M3 or as fast as the C63. Definitely an improvement over the old garbage it used to be.

Plus you are a $7kblower kit away from 11's with warranty, and up the boost and you have 10's in a daily driver. Great choice.

Yeah the price is really unbelievable considering I bought the car from Europe, so we are talking about 60k Dollars for the Mustang GT 5.0 and 80k for the C63 or M3. Not that far away if you ask me. Its not only an improvement I cant belive I still have the LRA in it instead of an IRS! You really cant tell..great job.
