First time posting so be gentle. LOL

I have searched through a bunch of threads about fm radio reception and kep fobs not working more than a couple of feet from the car.

Can anyone give me a simple checklist to follow up on these issues? The radio being more important in my world than the key fob.

Hello, first of all welcome to MBWorld! My key fob is the same way on my CLK. It happened around the time I got my windows tinted. My key only works when it is pointed directly at the door and my AM radio doesn't work, FM does. If you find anything please let me know. I will do the same if I find anything!

First replace fuse #8 on the rear SAM (fuse panel in the trunk). if that doesn't help, then the antenna amp is bad or detached from the glass, and that's a major/expensive job.
