Just wanted to warn all of you guys out there that the sylvania Silverstar bulbs 9006 that can go into the fogs are ugly as all hell.
Sylvania claims a "white" light but they appear more yellow than anything else

actually installed on dad's CL I have 6000 K HID fogs on my CLK
but yes too little too late.
apparently theres some kind of xenon wannabe line that is more "white"

but im hesitant to get these for him
anyone have good 9006 bulb suggestions 6000K? all I can find are cheap chinese knockoffs are ricer style

Silverstar is the best model right? those are not pure white. They have a yellow tint to them. I installed them on my driving lights... (besides the distorted color, they work excellent) and doesn't look to bad on the CLK.
The zXe you mention, aren't white either. They have a blue tint and are street legal. Crappy part is that they don't last nearly as long
