2005 CLK320 W209 Driver's Seat Moving When Passenger Seat Adjusted?
Update on previous seat issue.
I noticed now that when the passenger seat is moved using the various buttons, the driver's seat moves in the inverse. Ex passenger seat moved forward, driver's seat simultaneously moves back. In previous post I asked which SAM controlled the driver seat, because the shop said that is why it wasn't moving. I feel like perhaps it is something different now that the seat does moved, but is getting a signal from the wrong place.
Anyone know what could be causing my seats to move inversely and how to correct it? Thanks.

I have the same problem, but it's only on one seat. When I move the driver seat back, the headrest moves up and when I move it forward, the headrest moves down. Same issue with the passenger seat. Any help?

That's got to be insanely annoying lol. Mines just work when it wants to. I have it at the perfect position now so it's not a problem. Passenger side headrest won't go down though, annoying!

These are all controlled by CAN bus signals. I wonder if someone replaced the driver's seat controller with a "passenger" controller so that it responding to the wrong CAN signals, i.e. the passenger side buttons instead of the driver's side. That's about all I can think of!

thats normal. think about it, when you move your seat back, the CAN anticipates the driver is taller with longer legs and reach, hence the headrest goes up. when you move the seat forward, it thinks that the driver is smaller so the headrest goes down. hope that clears it.
