New grille

Just got my grille installed today. It has a slight gap on top but it's not that big of an issue to me. The grille makes the car look a lot newer IMO. Enjoy.

Really really looks good and classy. Thank for sharing. I might be looking into this now.

How were the removal and installation? Fairly easy? How long did it take?

Thanks. It took 2 minutes tops and was a simple DIY. It comes with directions but removing the grille is as simple as unscrewing the two bolts on the top and squeezing it out from the two clips on the left and right of the grille. Installation is the opposite process. If you need a link I can get it for you.

No thanks. That sounds as simple as it gets for me.

Where did you buy yours from? I found the same style grille one on eBay for $169. It's called "SLS style" apparently.

The link is taking me to the home page of ebay.com but I guess you're trying to point me out to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-CLK-Class-W209-03-09-1-Fence-SLS-Front-Hood-Sport-Black-Grill-Grille-/261548574186?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ce58285ea&vxp=mtr

My car is actually in another country to where I am returning in 1.5 weeks so I am trying to figure out if I can buy this from eBay, bubble wrap it, and bring it with me in my luggage.

Can you please get me dimensions on the grille? I'll be able to figure out if it will fit into my bag or not.

I admit I am a "stock" guy that does not like a lot of aftermarket mods. I like the original MB look but this grille is too classy and sporty to pass on.

Mine is a German-spec 2005 CLK 320 in metallic blue.

Do you still have the stock 4 slat grill and or willing to sell it? I love the way the single slat grill looks but i just can't stand the upper gap from where the hood is... Why it couldn't be higher to avoid that and i'd get it!

Thanks,
-Nigel

That looks sweet. I just plastidipped my grill and it made a huge improvement (for me at least).
