CLK W209 Wind deflector
I recently purchased a second hand wind deflector for my CLK, which was missing one of the two assemblies shown in the attached. It was priced well, and I didn't think the missing piece would be an issue so I got the wind deflector and ordered separately part # A209 868 0132. It turned out that this part # is just the clamp highlighted in green, and the bracket highlighted in red cannot be ordered separately without the wind deflector itself

So my question is, has any one experienced this challenge before? By any chance, does any of you good people have access to a Solidworks drawing of the bracket? I'll be very grateful for any feedback and advice you might have for me.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Mikolaj
But even if it didn't, I'm sure I would never have used it again. It takes up trunk space and requires me to install it, which sort of detracts from the automatic nature of the folding top.
So mine doesn't fold flat, but that's probably because my 200 is not capable of reaching the same speeds as your 550
At any rate, that lever slots into the hole in the back seat, next to the safety belt. All it does is keeping the deflector secured in place so it doesn't take off hehe.

As for the usefulness of the wind screen, I keep mine in place all the time and use it when driving on the highways. You do have to raised the side glass to keep the wind from folding it back down. With the screen and glass up, I can drive 100mph+ down the highway and there's less wind and turbulence than in a car with an open sunroof.
Agreed 100% on the usefulness, it certainly reduces the whirl inside the car.

I take it by your signature that the state you live in has a little bit more sunshine / less wind than Ireland?

I suppose every state has more sunshine than Ireland, although Wyoming would give you a run for your money on the wind. I live in Colorado where, for whatever reason, it is nowhere near as windy as Wyoming to the north.
Oh, for those using the wind screen - if you drive at highway speeds, you MUST raise the side glass. Otherwise, the wind will force the screen back down. But with the side glass up, it creates a reverse pressure which holds the screen up.
And one more comment (just to rub it on for those of you who live in colder climates), I drove around all day today with the top down enjoying our unseasonal 78F sunny day.
