Hello All,
Thinking about pulling the trigger on a Dynavin N6 Nav Unit. Has anyone has any experience with it? Also, any ideas if would work with an 07 550?

Thanks.

Thats a no no
Hello friend i have installed a N6 on my car and regreted it already. Its quality screams that its chinese product, sound quality below average and had to replace mine within 1 month beacause the sat module burnt. So revise your thought and prefer something european like alpine or pioneer.

John

for basic setup I would get a 5ch amp, a good amp for the price is the ppi p900.5. A component set like a focal a1. And a small sub like a jl w3. Finish it off with a pioneer or Kenwood Hu that has apple car play or android auto.

Hi,
Fitted one of these into my ML (W164) last week, and to be honest, it has been one of the BEST upgrades I have ever done. Overall give it a 9/10.
Some say it might be a "chinese" unit and so low quality. I've never really given credit to a statement like this, almost 95% of electronics are from china. Our RAM in our computer, our circuit board in our Sony TV and even the logic board in an Apple macbook!
This unit does not feel like a cheap "knock off" android sat nav. It feels more OEM than the COMAND NTG2.0 I used to have which was HORRID.
See my review here as I do list some of the cons as well, but even knowing this, I would definitely not hesitate to buy this again. Thinking of getting a Dynavin for my VW now!

I've had a version of the Dynavin before and yes, it works. Is it at the same level as something more expensive? Not in a million years. I'd buy this if it was like...half the price of a respectable product with the same features.
Also you can't really compare this to the stock COMAND 2.0 or whatever...which at this point is ancient technology.

Yes, the Chinese can produce stuff for manufacturers according to certain designs and specs. Unfortunately, they can't make stuff that is at the same quality level themselves. So yes, it's a valid point to be concerned about Chinese crap.
