Can they automaticly fold in whenn the key is removed or car is locked and then fold out on the unlock or start of the car like the C coupe and c sedan?

Has anyone got this already working I have checked with the dealer and there checking my star system whilst its in for warranty work

Neil, I'm not aware of this being available on the CLK, and it certianly isn't an option on my fathers C270 Avantgarde on the instrument panel setups either.

I think its driver operated switch only.

it will not work on my car cos i aint got memory seats if i had the memory seats it would of been no prob

I recenty added a set of folding mirrors to a US spec 2003 W211 E55 and it was possible to change the car's settings per stardiagnose to let it know it has folding mirrors that are now controleable from the instrument cluster as if they have to fold when locked or per switch only...

Really? I've got the seats, but my (slightly worse than useless) dealer said it couldn't be done. What dealer are you using?

aslong as you have memory seats will can be setup for auto fold when ignition is turned off
