CLK 320 Sedan
CLK 320 Sedan Mystery
I've scoured the Internet with no success, and now I find myself here in search of answers. I recently took a 2001 Mercedes Benz CLK 320 Sedan off of my girlfriend's grandmother's hands with the intentions of pricing and selling the vehicle. However, I ran into some problems, or at least some confusion along the way --- nowhere on the Internet, and I mean nowhere, can I find information on a CLK 320 Sedan. With the "C" standing for coupe, and with literally every single website I visit only showing coupe versions of the CLK 320, I have nowhere else to turn. Does anyone have any insight or information on this 2001 CLK 320 Sedan? I'm extremely grateful for any possible help. Thanks a lot. I've attached photos of the vehicle as well.

This is a 2001 W203 C320. Someone put a CLK badge on it for some reason but there is no such thing as a CLK "Sedan".
This is like someone putting a Mustang badge on a Fusion or a Taurus.
I'd fix the badge and make it what it is "C 320". That'll increase your chances of selling it because potential buyers won't think you're trying to trick them.
On a side note, that is one funny idea! I'm trying to think what the guy who did it had in mind A false sense of driving an MB couple?

I have also seen one of these in my part of town. It could be as Yidney said, some body shop ordered the wrong lettering. But I think some people don't understand MBZs nomenclature and think that "CLK" is more prestigious than "C". For example, I was at the gas station a few months back and a young lady at the pump behind me was in a CLK350 coupe the same color as my car (Cadet Blue). We chatted a bit and she dais hers was a MY2008. When I told her mine was a My2007, she looked puzzled and said, "Wouldn't a 550 be newer? I thought the number indicated the year???"
