Is this easy to do? i just bought a set of Phillips diamond vision, since my car came with the standard halos.

it's very easy, just like you would with any car, just take the cover off, then the pins, you may want to use a pliers so that the bulbs won't touch anything.

nice choice, but pricey, I was quoted AU$105 for a set!!

G'day mate! WTF? AUD105 for a pair of Philips bulbs. Dang, Tezta was hesitating on paying AUD71 for his, LOL! (prob even cheaper now given the pace the bloody AUD forex is climbing at!!) I am so glad I'm not doing up my ride back in OZ. No wonder everyone stays with their Holdens down under.

Give me a break man, Monaros?!!! Weren't they put to bed (or out to pasture) when unleaded petrol was introduced??? LOL!!! Having said that, my favourite was the Falcon GT's from those days.... - would also loved to keep Mad Max's ride in my garage Can't be too many gems from the 70's left now......

Sorry for the off topic Tez - can't help it when I meet another member from Oz.

Forget about the Diamond vision, get yourself a set of bi-xenons & 6000K d2s.

Hi Harris,

Can you fit aftermarket Xenon on the W209? I was advised of some electrical problem, any suggestions of which model to get and price?

Thanks.

Agree, don't like the old Monaros, only the new ones

And yes, I do just remember the old Falcon GT's, friend actually just restored a 1970 XW Falcon 500 GS, and has the number plate HSV-309!! ...only if it was HSV-308, he would of made some money

....appologies for the off topic here

Of course you can. The only thing you have to do after the install is to change the computer setting at the dealership.

and check with your dealer as well.. Mine here says they will void the entire warranty if i do it aftermarket. Something about electrical issues since its a big part of the car itself. If i did have the dealer perform the install id be looking at $2600 USD for parts and labor.
