I'm assuming that those people who order the 2005 model without COMAND will be able to retrofit the DVD nav. The reason I ask is that apparently the 320 wont be getting DVD nav and I'm not spending the extra cash for a 500 just for the navigation system.
Any info on this would be helpful.

I just can't see the 500 getting the DVD nav and the 320 not getting it. Doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Bear in mind, those aren't the only 2 models of CLK that Mercedes do around the world - there are many more different models, particularly here in the UK where the 500 is not popular at all due to high fuel prices.
