Brilliant Silver being phased out?

Inerestingly brilliant silver is being replaced by iridium silver (German name) in the 2005 SLK. Wonder if this will apply across all the product lines?

Na brillant silver is merc trade mark all there old race cars were silver because they worked out that the paint on the car slowed them down by a little fraction so silver will always be here, especaily brillant silver
