The fronts should be OK but ET40 for the rears may make the wheel sit too far in (that's Ok cuz you can always add spacers).

Is that a replica or a genuine MM?

Yeah, well another danger of getting wheels off another series is the bolt pattern, sizes and shape may be different. I know for sure the C, E and CLK share the same bolt confirguration and similar offsets. SL wheels should fit as far as the bolt pattern is concerned but you'll need custom bolts cuz the head is different.

I'm not a great fan of replicas due to the uncertainty of the quality but if they're made by reputable manufacturers like Moven's, they should be OK - just my $0.02.

ALL MB wheels have the same bolt pattern. It's the size of the bolts that you will have trouble. R230 uses 14mm bolts, yr car uses 12mm. Also, the tires (front and back) are WAY too wide. It is IMPOSSIBLE to use those tires.

I am not a fan of replicas either. If you dont want to spend too much money, get yrself a set of 18" AMG Style IV one-piece wheel. At least you are buying the excellent quality from AMG.

Don't you mean wheels? If so, you CAN get custom 12mm bolts that'll allow you to safely adapt the SL wheel to the 12mm holes (approx US$100/20pcs, excl. shipping) Tezta almost ordered some to fit AMG SL (Style VI) on his W209.

No, I mean tires. How can you put 255 tires in the front of a CLK and 285 on the back???

Actually, you dont have to buy custom bolts, just use the ones on your car. They'll work, just not as good.

Sorry, wasn't reading your post properly but I don't think he mentioned anything about the tires, anyways.

Mmmmm, I hear the seat of the SL bolts is different (at least on the style VI) and the 12mm CLK bolt will be loose /"wobble" in the 14mm hole.....I'd say its safer to spend a little extra for peace of mind

My bad! Wasn't reading too well at work, sorry again Harris

Yeah, pretty darn wide tires and his 200 would be struggling to push them, even if they fit
