Being so, no illumination for us?

You mean yours doesn't light up at all? Take it apart and check the bulbs. I've never seen a car with a switch that didn't illuminate. Makes no sense haha.

I get only fog lights illumination when I put them on. That's it.

So how do you turn on your lights at night...or know what lights you have on?

Take it apart and check the bulbs. It probably uses the same small bulbs as the cigarette lighter...which is also supposed to light up btw.

I have light in cigarette ashtray console. How to remove light switch? How easy to take it apart? Being so... Most of all of us have burnt off bulbs?

Has anyone removed the light switch / how difficult is it to remove?

Yeah, I don't think the mirror switch lights up.

It should be easy to remove. There's plenty of access through the fuse box panel.

How easy to take apart? Do most of us have burnt bulbs? Why is it like that? Confused!

Why? Think about the ambient light bulb in the mirror. If you have an older Mercedes like we do, that bulb has long since burned out, but damned difficult to get at to replace.

Eh anything can be taken apart. Access to the switch is easy so I'm sure it can be taken apart and bulbs replaced.

Well looks like it all lights up, like I originally said. Here's a pic of mine. I think my knob bulb is out...so I'll take it apart when I have some time. This is with the front fogs on.

Is that a CLK picture? How come there's no on demand mirror folding buttons? In addition to the auto-fold that is.

Parking spots in the US are about twice the size as in Europe...no need for mirror folding

I don't have those mirror buttons. No auto mirrors for me.
