Take it apart and check the bulbs. It probably uses the same small bulbs as the cigarette lighter...which is also supposed to light up btw.

I have light in cigarette ashtray console. How to remove light switch? How easy to take it apart? Being so... Most of all of us have burnt off bulbs?

Seems to me there's got to be bulb illumination somewhere behind the dash to illuminate the mirror controls. Even if not, it should be easy enough to rig a light.

It should be easy to remove. There's plenty of access through the fuse box panel.
