my car temp gauge ran all the way to the top and the temp light came on. red light in the instrument cluster saying to turn car off. I pulled over and cut it off to let it cool. When i went to turn it back on it would start but then cut off.
Any help on what's going on? i'm going to change the spark plugs tomorrow but i have no clue what's causing it not to turn back on even after its cooled off.
Any help would be appreciated

so it probably was low on coolant, i would check the oil and see if you have coolant in there.
i dont know what tools you have to diagnose it, i would check the fluids and then do a compression check first.

CELs? Air bubbles in the coolant reservoir? Coolant boiling out the coolant overflow tank? Milky residue on the inside of the oil filler cap? Why is the coolant level low, where are the leaks?

If the engine suction fan runs at high speed wit the key in the ignition position 2, before starting the engine, then that is a symptom of it and the EC not communicating.

It turns out that i had a leak in my hose where it connects to the radiator. the clip wasn't on correctly. and i forgot to connect to connectors on the passengers side of the radiator.... so the SRS and check engine light came off... i just have to replace my radiator and i should be fine. the wind tunnel fan was only because the car was running hot or about to.
