What are 2 wires under back seat

Just bought my clk and Was tightening my handbrake and seen that there is 2 wires leading from the front and have been cut and tied up. What are they??
Noticed My seat bolsters won't work but I'm sure they were working when I picked it up, also my parking sensors don't work
Dunno if these are related

I'm sure they are connected to the Seat Belt tensioners.

The seat belts tensioner aren't right as you can see in the picture so maybe it has a hidden past 👀

those 2 wires are for the seat belt tensioner , theres probably a capacitor in there to fool the SRS system that the tensioner haven't been fired. it seems your car has been in an accident, and for cost cutting they just installed capacitors on the belt tensioner instead of replacing them. probably the same story with the front seats. any airbag errors?

Nah no errors.
With these not being connected what does it mean? What won't happen with them not being connected?

basically these tell the tensioners to pull the seat-belt anchors down in case of an accident for better safety. Them being disconnected wont mean anything, it is theoretically "less safe", I wouldn't be worried about that. I would be worried about looking around the car for damage that has been repaired in the same "cheap way".

Oh and Seat-belt tensioners aren't reset-able they should have been replaced.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Seat belt pre-tensioners don't always have to be replaced. It depends on which system is used. The older systems used a gas-charged cartridge that was a one-time user. Newer systems use an electronic servo that is reusable (self-resetting). I can't remember which system the CLK uses. I seem to recall seeing gas cartridges in mine. But if it fires, it will trigger an SRS Fault.
