Discovered strange leak

having a strange leak coming from the driver side in front of rear wheel. Happened out of nowhere. Can't tell if it's hydraulic fluid or transmission oil. I will say that the previous night I put the convertible top down but didn't have any malfunction. Next day discovered this. Anybody have this issue? My car is a 05 clk320.

The obvious first step is to check the fluid level in the top reservoir. If you don't know how, in your trunk on that same side there is a door on the side maybe 5" wide and 8" tall in the black fuzzy side panel. Pull it off. The reservoir will have a clearly marked "Full" line.

I checked the level. Level is low. Where is it leaking from?

Found the culprit. It's a cracked line. Sprays everywhere! It's the number 22 line that connects to this cylinder. Now just need the part number .

The part number I found in EPC is A2098000881, but I don't think that's right as it is noted for use with the auto trunk opener. You might ping Klaus at Top Hydraulics - he sells some hoses, too. If you go to the dealer, they should be able to give you the correct part.
