that would be tight if they used the E55 8-piston brake system. I just might wanna upgrade to those too....

:werd: im hoping the same too.. you know what i saw? an SLK200 with 19" amg style IV 2 pc.. which is normally drilled for 14mm bolts, so this might mean that rim is also gonna be available for the C, SLK, CLK classes...

If the SLK uses the stock bolts, it will work with the 19" Style IV. You know all the tuner wheels are all made with 14mm holes.

Droolllll Six-piston AMG. Wow, now that looks nice. Does anyone know the price for the AMG E55 brakes. That would look tight on our cars...

The E 8 piston brakes are 3-4k for a set, but they reportedly weigh a hell of alot more than aftermarket brakes (40 lbs is the number that comes to mind). Brembo now has a rear brake kit for the 209, and the list price for the Brembo kit is ~$5500. For that, I'd just buy the Brembos. I actually still want the Movit 6 pistons...

Thanks...well in that case, then i most likely will consider brembo's 15' GT brakes. Maybe sometime down the road. My car isnt like 350HP, so the brakes can be a last priority...

yeah i think the Brembo kit is 355 4 piston in the front and 328 4 piston in the rear. The Movit that I want is 380 6 piston front and 328 4 piston rear, but the price is a tad more than the Brembos.
