USA pricing in 2003????
It's 7:45am in Germany *gg*Your German price is correct (Link to price list), but without VAT!
I don't know what the US VAT is about... In Germany it's 16%.
So if you add to the official German price of 33.917,15 USD
your 18% of US "adjustment" and 16% VAT you've got
46.425,79 USD.
PS: the German price for the old model was without VAT 33.411,03 USD (CLK 320).

While well intentioned, your calculations are based on false assumptions. In the USA there is no VAT. US customs duty (Zoll) is around 8 %. To that you add transportation, PLUS whatever MB wants to!
Therefore I think that the BASE MSRP will be: 43-45k US$. To that come state & luxury taxes, another 3-4k.
