CLK500 may not be going after all..

As some of you may have seen my posts earlier, I was interested in selling my CLK and getting into this e55 i have on order. The E is expected to arrive somewhat around mid june, but my impatient self can never wait, so yesterday I was driving down commercial blvd and saw my way into Shelton Ferrari. They just happened to have a gorgeous 00 360 Modena f1 on the floor Red/Tan. This car is what ive dreamed about since I came out of the womb lol. I filled out all the necessary paperwork and on Monday im going back to test drive/finalize the deal. This could be one of the stupidest financial moves ever made but I LOVE this car. Any one have any experince with the 360? anything I should look for in particular? the car only has 3400 mi

I believe 00 or 99 was the first year to get the F1 box, make sure the car has all the latest software upgrades. I've done business with Shelton in the past, they are very reputable but pricey. Generally the 360 has been a steady value holder but when the 430 debuts the 360's will experience a less favorable value.

It's supposed to be a 430 but either way I hope he gets my point.

Thanks for the info RJC,yes i do realize SHelton is a bit more expensive but i like the fact that they are an actual ferrari dealer and the fact that the car has a fully documented history grants me a peice of mind that justifies the couple of thousand markup.

For some reason they're calling the car a 430. Maybe its 4.25 or something and rounding to 4.3 or maybe all the mags are mistaken about the 430. If you do a basic search under "430 modena" you'll see what been reported so far.
