05 CLK500 - Car shakes hard when coming to a stop? Possible faulty new CPS sensor?

So, I was in the process of selling one of my CLKs, 2005 CLK 500 and of course a problem arises while doing so.
Car starts fine and drives normal no problems at all and no fault/engine codes have appeared. After driving for a bit, at random the car will violently shake when coming to a stop usually at red lights. The whole car is shaking like crazy. If I press the gas a little more, it seems to help it go away completely until the next random occurrence. The thing is, it is so random like some drives it won't occur at all and sometimes it is every single stop. There was only one instance when the engine completely shut off. Had to turn the car off and start the engine again.

The thing is, I did fix a problem two weeks before I started noticing it shake, which was the CPS sensor. When this problem was present, the car never shook or vibrated though at all. Not even once. It only had a problem of either the car coming to a complete stall at red lights, or the engine would not start and I would have to wait 20 - 30 minutes to try again. The check engine code for CPS sensor did show up and so I replaced it and it worked with the car not having any problems for around 2 weeks and no check engine lights for the CPS sensor have showed up every since installing a new one.

Tl; dr - Car would stop at red lights and sometimes not start. CPS sensor fault code appeared and was changed with a new one. Then, two weeks later experiencing another problem with car shaking and losing power.

Spark plugs were changed at 100k miles last year. Car is around 116k miles right now. Could that be it? Or could it be a faulty/cheap CPS sensor? The CPS sensor is not Bosch, but aftermarket non-branded.
Any other possible reason? Thank you for reading and for any help!

Technically, replacing the CPS needs an adaptation in SDS. However, there might be a way to do it manually:

So this did not work out and still same results, unless I did it wrong. So I followed what it said and reved it between 2000 and 3000 rpm for 30 seconds. Is there something else I need to do to adapt the flywheel?

Maybe I'm not getting the load part, so 50% would mean what?

You'd have to have a scanner that connected that can show engine load. I think the AUtel MD802 might do that, but I am not sure of the iCarsoft tools.

One possible scenario is you could have created a vacuum leak via breather hose (they crack easily when they are old) when trying to gain access to the CPS. Another possibility is the air filter housing is not properly mounted on the MAF, which would cause a minor vacuum leak and finally I've heard nothing but bad things about non-Bosch/Mercedes CPS units, so if you are not using those brands you might want to consider it after you verify you have no vacuum leaks.

And not only use a genuine Bosch or MBZ CPS, make sure it's not a fake/knock-off. Amazon and eBay are full of fake parts. Buy from a reputable seller, such as RMEuropean, AutohauzAZ, Pelican Parts, or one of the forum sponsors.

Thanks for the help guys. Yeah, everything was put back correctly and no leaks or any cracks or spacing. So, I guess the only solution would be the CPS sensor itself. Yes, I did buy an aftermarket part, so maybe that could be it and it was from China directly. I'm gonna go ahead and just buy a Bosch brand for $20 more and see if that will do it. The person sold over 30 of them, so didn't really think anything about it. From now on, nothing from China ever again.
