Talking CLK-350 rear shocks Installation/Work Instructions pls.

Hello Community! I finally got the rear shocks (SACHS 317 345) and installation kit (MB A 203 320 01 56 # 120 in the parts list) for my beauty, so I'm ready to install them (and rid of a bothersome squeak every time I go through a bump)... I did opt to buy the OE installation kit even though the shocks did come with kit (that was cheap enough at approx. $18 ea). Anyway, I'm reaching out to our experts asking for the work instructions. I'll share pics once installed!

VIN: WDBTK56F87T080848 (2007 CLK-350 Cabriolet)

Thanks and happy holidays!

NO LONGER ACTIVE
I'd post the WIS doc, but it would be a waste of electrons - it basically jsut says "unbolt and remove".. Torque is 20Nm top nut, 50Nm bottom nut.

Rear shocks are very easy
Only "trick" might be the top nut. You have to hold the center post still while turning the locking nut. I used a small crescent wrench and a ratcheting 14mm (I think).
Pulling all the carpeting and black plastic retainers out is annoying.
I forgot that rubber donut thing on the top of one side and was wondering why it was banging metal on metal.
If you're strong enough to compress the shock and stuff it in the lower control arm you won't have to unbolt anything else.
I have 2 pics here

Thanks Rudeney and Ambit for the info. I have a cabriolet and I’m not sure the top of the shock can be reached from the trunk but rather by opening the lid that covers the roof when the top is down... anything special I should be aware of?

@ambit great post!
