Pics of '05 CLK500 & 320 Cabs!!
We just received some '05 CLK320/500 Cabriolets & I thought I would show everyone the new touches. The 500 has the AMG decklid spoiler & a new style of 17" AMG wheels along with the shift buttons on the steering wheel!

I like the older thin-spoke wheels better, but I guess they had to change due to alot of the Sport Pkgs. using the same wheel! They are trying to spice it up a little, I guess.

The one tip vs two might be different on the coupes vs cabs as is with the 05 209 55's coupes have 4 outlets coupes have 2.
So 320's now have 17's as the 500's still must make do with. Great for 320 guys but a slap for the 500 owners. WHERE ARE THE 18's MB???? AT LEAST GIVE US THE OPTION ON THE 500 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 500 still only has the one exhaust tip and not the two like the 55 Cabs. Only the 55 coupes will have the quad exhaust for '05. ******ONE VERY IMPORTANT FACT******: The shift buttons on the 500's steering wheel will only shift the tranny up! You have to down shift manually using the gear selector! I just found this out this morning while playing around with one of the new cars! Although this is disappointing, it makes me feel better about getting the AMG!

Marcus, if this is true about the tranny button shifter not being able to shift down, then that must be one of the most stupidest automotive designs ever...
why even put buttons there when you can't shift down? absolutely incredulous....looks like ill just keep the transmission in automatic...
regarding the wheels, when will MB get it right with the wheels....the CLK should get 19", 500 should get 18, and 320 17"...

Hi Marcus,
Is the rear light still using bulbs? or has it been upgraded to use LED like the E-class?
Not sure if any here's seen the Beamer's 330ci new LED rear brake lights or not... it looks bad...

We have not gotten any '05 coupes in yet, but should be showing up soon. As for the lights, the radio and climate controls are now blue and the temp read out in the 500 is digital!
