How Can I Tell If I Have The Harman Kardon Sound System?
I recently got a 2008 CLK350 Coupe. Unfortunately, the seller didn't have the window sticker... So I have no idea what packages my car includes... I'm new to the MB world so please take it easy on me...
From my research, looks like I have the P90 appearance package. It also looks like I have the P01 premium package because I seem to have all the features (garage door opener, 6 CD changer in the glove compartment, sunroof, UHI pre-wire). But not sure if i have the HK sound system. The features I have are not listed in the stand alone options list... Also, from my research, HK sound system means you have 2 holes for the subwoofer in the center of the backseat cushion. Is this the only tell for HK? I don't have the 2 holes that's why I'm questioning whether I have the HK sound system.
I tried decoding my VIN but I got conflicting results... One website said I have HK but another said I have normal sound system. Does anybody know what the option code is for HK?

On datamb.com, the option code for the HK system for my VIN is displayed as "810 SOUND SYSTEM".
I have a coupe (I'm assuming you have the convertible), so I can't really compare our two cars. But I do know that convertibles with the HK system have the two subwoofer ports between the two rear seats (as you mentioned), and "Harman Kardon" is displayed right beneath the ports. If you don't have this feature, it would probably be safe to assume you don't have the HK system.

Sorry I forgot to mention that i have a coupe. Are those 2 holes for the sub only for the convertibles? I don't have the 2 holes you pictured that's why I'm questioning whether I have the HK system or not.
