Chassis number for 2005 CLK 500 cab
I need to order the shocks and struts for my CLK and I need to know which chassis my car is. Where can I find this number. I got the data card but I was not sure that it was listed there.

To order shocks you don't need "chassis number" all you need to know is whether you have sport suspension or not (code 486), just enter you vin here
This site pulls up different strut assembly parts and list different chassis number range for each part, but they all fit my year and model car

Nope, if you look closely you will see that it shows the same part number for all "chassis number":

Control Arms?
for new control arms I am seeing that it asks M10 or M12, I understand that is the metric size of the bolts, but without going under the and looking at the suspension itself can I know which control arm kit to order?
Thanks for the knowledge.

It's only about front sway bar links. For sport suspension (code 486) it's 12mm (thread diameter) for non-sport suspension 10mm.
You need to choose front struts and font sway bar link accordingly.
