2005 clk 500 Mercedes Benz won’t crank over
I put the wrong battery in not an AGM battery and it quit on me I got it home and am jump starting it and it turns over but doesn’t crank and it did before what could be wrong?

some Mercedes benz require you to have constant battery flow while changing batteries. If you do not it does something to the computer and you have to reboot it. I do not know what exactly they do but I know my 2014 did not require the constant power supply. Someone here might know what you have to reboot. You do not have to get a agm battery that is not the problem.

Have you scanned the car for codes ? Easiest way to start would be to get it scanned for codes, then see what codes are present and go from there.
As I understand then your engine turns over but does not turn on ? Or the engine doesnt even turn over when you turn key ?

If it cranks but does not fire (start running) then it't not a battery issue. It's most likely a fuel delivery problem. It could be a bad fuel pump, pump relay, or even a bad CPS (no signal from the CPS and the ECU will deactivate the fuel pump).
