if its just the bulbs you can do them yourself, its really simple. No need to pay someone to do them. As for the xenon bulb itself you can get that nice purple effect by getting a set of DS2 Philips ultinon 6000K bulbs.

tezta, you are awesome! thanks ill be ordering those today. im paying someone to install the xeon headlight system. i am currently using the plain halogen headlights. i spent over 4hrs trying to put them in myself. i had to take apart the grill, headlights, and front bumper. at that point, i saw i had to take off the fenders too. lol so i thought, man, so much trouble, i might as well pay someone to do it for me. thanks again!

oh yeah i noticed some other bulbs that have an output of 10k, instead of 6k. what is the difference, and would it be recommended to put a 10k one in there?

oh sorry i didnt know you meant the full bi-xenon assembly.. In that case yeah you better have someone install them and then properly coded at the dealership. As it has been discussed before, the higher the kelvin rating the worse the output of light and unessesary glare. 4000K is considered the best output which is what stock bi-xenons come with. But the higher "K" rating equals a bluer light. I would suggest 6000K from philips since they dont mke any higher K rating and they are a quality company, any 8000K or 10000K is generally made from a no-name brand and you can run into quality issues.

GE makes a 10000K bulb for our cars.

Do you think GE is a no name brand?

Any thoughts on these bulbs?

I am still trying to match all the lights to my xenons. Does anyone know the bulb specifications for the low beam xenons for the '05? I need to know the wattage output, the color (kelvin temperature i.e 6000k) and if it is h1, h3, h7, etc......and if anyone has the same knowledge with the fog lights (bulb size, wattage) that would be great. This way, all the lights would have the "xenon" look.

Did you look at your manual? Your manual should list all the sizes, both front and rear.

For color temperature, it has been discussed numerous times. The stock BiXenon has a temperature of 4300K and the bluish/purplish lights have a temperature range from 6000-10000K. Although those bluish/purplish lights look cool, the light output (lumens) is actually much worse than the 4300K white light. If you live in the city with lots of street lighting, the bluish/purplish light would be ok.
